I received my Wagyu Beef – now what?

February 10, 2022Our 100% Wagyu steaks are best enjoyed simply prepared, medium-rare.
- Heat a cast iron griddle, solid grate grill, or stovetop pan. Due to the marbling in the steaks they tend to flare up and lose their rich juice if you do not use a solid surface.
- Sprinkle all sides of your thawed steak(s) with cracked pepper and sea salt.
- Use a dash of olive oil in your cooking pan, and place steak(s) in pan once pan is heated.
- Cook for 3-6 minutes on each side for the thicker steaks, a little less time for the flat thinner steak cuts.
- Cook to medium or medium-rare (we prefer it medium-rare)
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes
- Serve and enjoy!

The road trip was well worth after seeing with my own eyes. the marbling was fantastic. I cooked a package of new York strip and OMG the flavor was over the top like nothing you’ve ever tasted. Cooked in a carbon steel pan with salt and pepper.
