JVP Fukutsuru 068 (FB2101).

JVP Fukutsuru 068 (FB2101) is arguably the most famous Wagyu bull in American history. The prime sire from the Tajima bloodline was exported to the United States in 1994, and he’s sired by Dai 2 Yasutsuru 774.

Fukutsuru’s dam is Teruyasu J649663. In addition, this bull’s maternal granddam was Kikutsuru, the “Hyogo Cow” from Japan’s Hyogo Prefecture. Thanks to his lineage, Fukutsuru was the number two marbling bull in the 2017 National Wagyu Sire Summary.

Fukutsuru is well-known for his exceptional carcass, good temperament, and large frame. The bull’s calves have good temperaments, too, and they’re smaller and grow more slowly. This makes his calves easy to manage. This bull is embryo production only.
